# Bulk Actions

> Select multiple notes or collections to organize, auto‑organize, chat, or delete.

## Overview

You can perform bulk actions on any list of notes or collections. First enter multi‑select mode, select rows, then choose the action you want.

    ### Enter multi‑select

    * Tap the icon on the left of any row
    * Or drag with two fingers
    * Or long‑press on a row

    ### Actions for notes

    * **Organize**: choose collections to add the selected notes to
    * **Auto‑organize**: Mem chooses one or more collections; creates new ones if needed
    * **Chat**: opens Chat with the selected notes as inputs so you can work with them
    * **Delete**: move selected notes to Trash

    ### Actions for collections

    * **Chat** with the selected collections
    * **Delete** collections

    ### Enter multi‑select

    * Click the icon on the left of a row
    * Shift‑click to select a range quickly

    ### Actions for notes

    * **Organize**: choose collections to add the selected notes to
    * **Auto‑organize**: Mem chooses one or more collections; creates new ones if needed
    * **Chat**: opens Chat with the selected notes as inputs
    * **Delete**: move selected notes to Trash

    ### Actions for collections

    * **Chat** with the selected collections
    * **Delete** collections
