Overview

Mem helps teams capture knowledge once and reuse it everywhere. With AI-powered recall, natural-language search, and collaborative sharing, your team’s information stays connected instead of siloed. Ask questions in Chat, surface related context automatically, and keep everyone aligned without the overhead.

Feature Highlights

  • Voice Mode: Capture and transcribe meetings or discussions into clean, structured notes—audio and transcript included. See: Voice Mode
  • Chat: Converse with your team’s shared knowledge base to answer questions, summarize work, or draft content. See: Chat
  • Related notes in context: While viewing a note, the right-hand panel surfaces similar and related notes so you can rediscover past knowledge from you and your teammates. See: Heads Up
  • Deep Search: Find anything using natural language—even with partial details. See: Search
  • Collections & Shared Collections: Organize notes for projects or teams; add a note once and share it with everyone who follows that Collection. See: Collections

Share Notes with Teammates

Notes are private by default. Share individual notes to collaborate in real time.
1

Open the note you want to share

Make sure the note is visible full-screen.
2

Click Share

Click the padlock icon (or double-person icon if already shared) at the top of the note.
3

Add teammates

Type the teammate’s name or email. If they don’t appear in suggestions, enter their full email address.
4

Confirm

Click Share to grant access.
Sharing works with people who don’t yet have a Mem account. If you share with someone new, they’ll receive an invite and can register to access the note.

Collaborate with Shared Collections

Use Shared Collections to group related notes for a project, team, or topic. Everyone with access sees the same set of notes and updates.
1

Open or create a Collection

From a Collection page, click the padlock icon at the top right (double-person icon if already shared).
2

Invite members

Enter the names or emails of your teammates to share the Collection.
If someone you add doesn’t have a Mem account yet, they’ll receive an invite and can register to join the Shared Collection.
3

Share notes via the Collection

When you add a note to this Shared Collection, the note is shared with all members automatically.
Why Shared Collections?
  • One place for the team: Keep meeting notes, decisions, and docs together.
  • Bulk sharing: Add a note to the Collection once—everyone gets access.
  • Flexible organization: A note can live in multiple Collections at once.

Tips for Successful Team Adoption

  • Standardize on Collections for projects and functions (e.g., #Marketing, #All-Hands, #Q4-Roadmap).
  • Use Chat to accelerate work: Summarize meetings, draft updates, and pull context from past notes.
  • Keep sharing lightweight: Start with Shared Collections for broad access; share individual notes when needed.
  • Encourage linking: Mention notes with @ and tag Collections with # to keep knowledge connected.

Subscriptions and Billing

Rather than having each team member subscribe individually to Mem Pro, you can unify billing and access with a Mem Teams plan. To inquire, contact us. We’ll help you set up the right plan for your organization.
