Overview

Pinning notes and collections in Mem lets you keep your most important information within easy reach. When you pin a note or collection, it will appear in the left sidebar under “Pinned”, so you can quickly access the ideas, references, or reminders you return to most often. Pinned notes and collections are especially useful for:
  • Running to-do lists that you want to keep referring back to
  • Active projects that are top of mind and need frequent access
  • Working documents you update daily or weekly
  • Reference materials handy during ongoing projects
  • Inspiration or motivation that anchors your work
  • Meeting links and project outlines for quick access
Whether you use pinning to streamline your workflow, track active projects, or stay aligned with your priorities, it’s a flexible way to bring focus to the notes that matter most.

How to Pin a Note

Pin from within an open note

When viewing a note, click the Pin icon in the top-right corner. If your window is narrow, open the three-dot menu to find Pin. Selecting Pin adds the note to your Pinned section in the sidebar.

Pin from a list of notes

Hover over a note in any list to reveal the three-dot menu, then choose Pin. The note appears under Pinned in the sidebar.

Unpin a note

In the sidebar under Pinned, hover over the note to reveal the Pin icon and click to unpin. Or open the note and click the Pin icon in the top-right (or use the three-dot menu) to toggle it off.
• The Pinned section in the sidebar is collapsible.
• You can drag and drop to reorder pinned items on desktop/web.
